CFC North and Sporting CT invites you to participate in our 2025 CFC North and Sporting CT Memorial Weekend Showcase  to be held on Friday, May 23rd through May 25th.  No Games on Memorial Day. This tournament will include Premier and Select and ECNL / GA level teams for Boys and Girls U09 – U18/19. The Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) and the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) have sanctioned this tournament.

Each team entering the tournament must be currently registered with their State, National Association or any other US Soccer affiliated club.  Teams from outside Region I and New Jersey must have an authorized copy of the USYSA Permission to Travel Form at registration.

CHECK IN PROCEDURES:

Per our sanctioning body CJSA, all teams in a tournament must check in the credentials of all teams prior to participating. US Soccer and its affiliates US Club Soccer and USYSA sanction CFC events. Teams must have the following items below:

Teams will  have items present at the field for the entirety of the tournament. 

Official Roster including all guest players
Player Cards
Medical Waiver Signed and fully completed (Club Waivers ARE accepted)
Copy of passports for all players (International Teams Only)

Teams failing to check in or having required items on hand may forfeit their matches.

FORMAT AND RULES

All age groups will play:

U9 and U10 - 4 games - Participation Medals

U11 and Up - 3 or 4 Games depending on size of bracket  / age groups 

           *May have Championship Game

           *May simply be Group Play Winner / Champion

Games will consist of (2) 30 min halves with a running clock for injuries.

U9 - roster 14, 7v7
U10 - roster 14, 7v7
U11 – roster 16, 9v9
U12 – roster 16, 9v9 
U13 – roster 22, 11v11
U14 – roster 22, 11v11

3 guest players allowed for U9-U12, 5 guest players for U13-U15 (write in roster names and please have their player passes)

*Forfeit - Any game that ends in a forfeit will result in a 3-0 victory.

Trophies will be awarded to the winner of each division.

First Tie Breaker – Head to Head
Second Tie Breaker – Goal Differential (Plus 5 Max per game)
Third Tie Breaker – Goals For (5 max per game)
Fourth Tie Breaker – Goals Against (fewest)
Fifth Tie Breaker – Most Shutouts
Sixth Tie Breaker – Penalty Shootout
